Elk Ridge
Hoback, WY
Located in the foothills of Hoback, Wyoming. The design consists of a main house and a barn with a guest house on the upper floor. The house sits on a sloped site, offering an impeccable view looking west over an open landscape towards Wolf Mountain and the Snake River.
The design focuses on classic forms with a modern touch, incorporating ranch-style architecture. The home features exposed trusses and large windows to maximize the views. Exposed wood throughout the home and barn adds warmth and character. The slope of the site allows for a unique entry to the guest house above the barn via a bridge, eliminating the need for stairs. The consistent use of exterior vertical siding and limestone material creates a cohesive architectural language between the main house and guest house.
